Review of Let Me In by Lauren Hawkeye

Imogen hasn't had sex with her husband, Ty, in over a year. She's still as attracted to him as ever, but they've both been looking for something new to renew their desire for one another. Yet she never thought to find it at a friend's wedding when another couple invites them to share their bed. Ty is obviously aroused by the idea and the thought of a ménage thrills Imogen to her core. Could this be the key to rekindling their passion...and can Imogen go through with it?

*******************

Let Me In is the fourth and final story in Lauren Hawkeye's Erotic Me series and is just as steamy and erotic as the previous installments to this series.  It too revolves around a wedding set during a steaming hot day and the air temperature definitely plays a part in the action.  Lauren creates atmosphere with the sweltering temps and how it adds to the couples' feelings of sensuality.  The sweat is rolling from beginning to end as these couples get together.  While it's not my favorite in the series, it still makes for a satisfying read.

Like all the previous heroines in this series, Imogen is a well fleshed out character. You get to know her character fairly well in a short time since the story is mostly seen from her perspective.  She's been married for 5 years and is starting to feel less attractive as her husband gets more distinguished with age.  It's had an affect on their sex life where they haven't reached fulfillment for the last year.  She's desperate to change things and, when presented with the chance to swing with another couple, thinks the excitement might be just what she and Ty need.

Ty is a character that we really don't get to know.  He's merely there as an extension to Imogen.  Since this is a very short story I'm not surprised we don't get to know much of him, the action and how it affects Imogen is what's important.  What we do see of Ty though is a sexy, well-built man, still in love with his wife willing to do what she wants to bring them closer together.

The sexual interludes, of which the majority of the story covers, are sexy and steamy.  Again, the sweat is rolling once the action starts.  These scenes are seen from Imogen's viewpoint since it's her journey to reach fulfillment that will bring her and Ty closer together.

This was a quick yet enjoyable read that is a nice ending to Ms. Hawkeye's Erotic Me series and I look forward to what she will be releasing next.

My rating for this is a B.
